City of Staunton Parcel ID 10236 - 150’ x 150’ lot (containing approximately 0.51 acres ±) and more fully described in a Deed of Correction dated August 26, 2021, of record in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Staunton, Virginia, as Instrument No. 210002985.  Also shown and described on (1) plat dated March 16, 2010, of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office as Instrument No. 100000744 and (2) plat dated July 1, 1965, of record in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Augusta County, Virginia in Deed Book 504, Page 593.

This lot was previously used as a Water Storage Tank lot.  The tank has been removed from the property.  Some concrete pads, underground piping and other appurtenances remain on the lot. Any removal of the same will be at the sole expense and responsibility of the purchaser.

The lot does not include any water or sewer connections.

The right and location of access between this lot and a public road are uncertain.  Please note the potential lack of access right to this lot.  Pursuant to the potential lack of right and location of access, site visits are not possible.

Sealed offers must be received by the Augusta County Service Authority (ACSA) by 9/30/2021 no later than 2:00 PM.  Any offer received by ACSA after 2:00 PM, 9/30/2021 will not be considered.

Faxed or emailed offers will not be accepted.

Offers should take the form of a single lump sum payment in US dollars.  The highest lump sum will determine the accepted offer.  In the event multiple offers are received for the same dollar amount, the earlier time of receipt will determine the accepted offer.

Reserve for this property is $30,000.  ACSA will reject any offers below the reserve.  In the event all offers are below the reserve, ACSA will dispose of the property at its discretion.

All offers must include best contact information for offeror (mailing address, telephone number(s) and email address) to enable ACSA to contact as soon as possible the offeror submitting the accepted offer.  The offeror with the accepted offer must enter into a real estate contract with ACSA to confirm the terms of the sale.  Closing of the sale shall occur within sixty (60) days or no later than November 30, 2021.


Both the buyer and seller will be responsible for their own costs (attorney’s fees, recording costs, etc.) associated with the purchasing/closing of this property.
